Mission Statement

Lakeshore Storm Volleyball Club is a member of the Badger Region of USA Volleyball. The club is a non-profit organization that offers the volleyball experience to local athletes ages 8-18. The club has a goal to improve players' skills and emphasize teamwork, skill developement, leadership, and personal growth.

Club Teams-Ages 12 (and under), 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18

An annual informational meeting for anyone interested is held in October. Tryouts for club teams are held in November. See the front page of this website for dates. Players are picked for each team based on age, ability, potential and attitude as seen at the tryouts. Older teams will attend approximately 7 tournaments. The 12 and under team will attend approximately 4 tournaments. The club season lasts from November to March/April. Players are expected to attend each practice and tournament.

Storm Camp - Ages 8-14

The objective of the camp is to offer the game of volleyball to the beginning and intermediate player. The camp lasts for 8 weeks beginning in January with practices held on Sundays. Players are divided into groups based on age and ability as follows:

Age 8-11: This is an instructional program for beginning players. It is a wonderful opportunity for players to learn volleyball skills in a fun environment. Advanced players age 7 are welcome.

Age 11-14: This camp is a great program for players to improve on all basic skills. Players will experience team play as well as master basic skills.

The fee for 2010 camp will be determined soon. We are the first club in state to start such a program, and have received much praise from the Badger Region board and other club directors.
